Susan’s Reforest the Coast Project

Meet 20 baby Coastal Redwood seedlings. This last two weeks they got names and now I start painting each of them for their first baby portraits.

These beautiful little guys are approximately fifteen months old, in human time, and are already showing their individuality. In tree time that is still a newborn. There’s time yet before they become saplings that can be planted. My hope is, that by that time, they will have a hospitable location where they can grow into a beautiful grove or mini forest, that our children’s children can enjoy. More on what coastal Redwoods do for the environment, the ocean, and our health and psychology to come. If you are interested in helping with this project...please contact me.
